Chanel Beauty

So as you all know I recently ran out of my Estee Lauder Double Wear Light and made the decision to not only, not repurchase but move away from Estee Lauder foundations completely. As of late I have been finding them a complete disappointment. So my search for the perfect foundation began, I searched and researched and even experimented with drug store foundations, which ended horribly, but I finally found the ones I wanted to try.

I went to the Chanel counter in my local boots and the Woman was incredibly helpful asking me about my skin what I personally want in a foundation, and matching my skin tone. I was matched up with the new Perfection Lumiere Foundation in shade 22 beige rose. I am not just saying this but as soon as I felt it on my skin I knew I needed it. It claims to be a long-wear flawless fluid makeup and I can definitely say it is. It glides on the skin so easily and it stays on all day I never get patches or areas I feel I need to sort. It also smells amazing and matches my skin like a dream and my skin really does appear flawless. At £36 it is a whole £10 dearer than my Estee Lauder, but I love it so much more it is definitely worth it.
I also picked up the Soleil tan de chanel, bronze universel, I had tried to get my hands on this at Christmas time but it must be one of the most wanted beauty products and I can see why. It is the most perfect hint of shimmer bronzer, it is a soft mousse like product that literally melts into your skin and blends like a dream. It is perfect for contouring and just applying as you do your usual powder bronzer. The only thing I would say is you need a super super sott brush as bristles of some kinds will get stuck.
All in all I am mega chuffed with my Chanel purchases, yes they may be pricey but as far as I am concerned they are worth it as I know they will last me a while.
Look out for some upcoming makeup tutorials/looks using these 2 items.
