Estee Lauder Bronze Sands Eyeshadow Palette

I've actually been meaning to do this blog post for a while as I got this at Christmas time and it had been on my wishlist for a while, but of late I have been a bit behind on posts so here I am just getting round to this one. Also I broke another blogging rule and forgot to  take pictures before I stuck my fingers in to swatch the colours and lost one of the brushes, can you forgive me? Anyway onto the palette itself.

Estee Lauder Bronze Sands Eyeshadow Palette

I've always always loved the sleek navy and gold packaging Estee Lauder do, I remember being a wee girl and loving playing with my Mums Estee Lauder collection, which was vast! I think this is where I got my makeup addiction and is it really any surprise Estee Lauder are one of my favourite brands?
The packaging of this eyeshadow palette does not disappoint from the shiny navy and gold box to the engraved gold case of the palette, I am in love! I always love the little details on packaging as well like the engraved Estee Lauder at the opening.

This is one of the Pure colour eyeshadow palettes in bronze sands cyber metallics, its was from the bronze goddess collection which overall was amazing. This eyeshadow palette is truly amazing though. The colours are all fairly neutral and metallic and shimmery which is gorgeous on a night out I also love the blue pop of colour which I will be honest I haven't been brave enough to wear yet. The actual texture of the eyeshadows is great as welll they are really easy to blend but you do have to be careful and not to over blend with a buffing brush as it can take some of the pop of the colours away.

I love wearing the 3 middle colours in the swatch picture above for a nice night out appropriate smokey eye, although I do like wearing them during the day as well and I think this is when I tend to over blend and dull the colours down slightly but for me I like that especially for days when I'm just going to uni or out for lunch.

I absolutely love this palette and will definitely be investing in some more Estee Lauder eyeshadows in the future.
Let me know what you think?
