Dainty Doll Hippy Shake Blusher

Firstly, I'd like to apologise for the lack of posts but I'm currently studying for my final final final Uni exams and all of my time has been spent studying and learning essays for them. However Monday is my last one and then I'm off to the INAA event in Glasgow!

Dainty Doll has always been a brand I have wanted to try, it was developed by Nicola Roberts of Girls Aloud and is made to suit the skin of us pale girls. The products are formulated so that they are buildable and subtle colours, I don't know about you but all too often I end up looking like a cartoon doll because I've applied ever so slightly too much of a blusher. Well that is what Dainty Doll blushers aim to stop! Fragrance Direct were selling a lot of Dainty Doll products for £1.99 and I thought I would grab a bargain and try some products I had been interested in! I picked up the Powder blusher in Hippy shake. This is unlike and other blusher in my collection and I feel it was a brave choice for me as its lilac. I honestly don't think I've even seen a lilac blusher before but I was excited to try it! the blusher has quite a chalky consistency but that might just be because it is such a light colour, its also matte as well. I think this would be a blusher you would have to wear on its own with no bronzer etc as the colour doesnt really show up. I do however like wearing it over other blushers and as a matte highlight it looks really good. I was quite skeptical about this blusher at first but I actually really enjoy using it as it is something different and I honestly never expected it to be something I would like, a pleasant surprise.

I honestly wish I bought more of these as they really are good quality and a bargain as well, there are still a few bits and bobs availible on Fragrance Direct and they seem to restock things a lot as well so definitely go check them out for a little bargain!
