Chanel Perfection Lumiere Foundation

Okay so first off, I'm just going to address the hugeeee elephant in the room, yes I haven't blogged for a while, but I promise my bloggers funk is over so please don't be mad!
As a peace offering I am going to do a long overdue post on one of my favourite foundations, bold statement from a girl who's been through more foundations than hot dinners (not quite but you get what I mean).

Firstly Chanel's packaging never ever disappoints me its always so sleek and expensive looking (as it should be when your paying £36) the bottle is glass with a black pump, which I really like I find one pump is enough to do my whole face and a little half pump for some extra coverage. Also it smells amazing, I cant quite put my finger on it but it doesn't have any nasty cosmeticcy smell it just smells good. I am the lightest shade of the warm skin tones in Beige Rose 12 and I find it matches me perfectly. Coverage wise I would definitely say it is light to medium but buildable to give you extra where you need it most. The only bug bear I have is that sometimes it seems to highlight areas of my skin and can make it look dry and patchy, it could be that I'm just having a bad skin day and this accentuates that I don't know.
All in all I do love this foundation it goes on so smoothly and blends perfectly, but its not quite my holy grail of foundations. Saying that it must be doing something right since this is the third time I've repurchased it!

Chanel Pro Lumiere is availible from all Chanel counters for £36
