Paul Mitchell Christmas Cocktails Event

On Wednesday the 23rd of October I headed into Glasgow for the Paul Mitchell Christmas event! I met up with a few other bloggers and we headed up to Malmaison on West George Street together. We headed down a little spiral staircase into the swanky MalBar and were greeted by the lovely Sarah from Paul Mitchell. We had a sit down and tucked into some yummy little burgers and chips and of course some cocktails.
We spent most of the time chatting away to each other with Sarah telling us all about the Paul Mitchell brand and of course filling us in on all the amazing products.
Paul Mitchell was born here in Scotland and spent some of his time training in Glasgow before travelling the world. Sarah told us all about the awapuhi wild ginger range and how it is also found in most of the Paul Mitchell products. We were also told all about the Mitch brand specially for men and of course we can't forget our 4-legged friends with the John Paul pet range as well the Vogetti Brand with what I think would be the perfect sets for any Secret Santa, the Plaits please one caught my eye. We also had a look at the Tea Tree range ( I have previously used this shampoo and loved it!), the caption for these gift sets is the gift that keeps on growing. This is because the sleeve around the gift set has daisy seeds implanted in recyclable paper! All Paul Mitchel products are also completely cruelty free!

The inspiration for the Paul Mitchell Christmas range was the catwalk shows which were full of glitz and glam and they wanted to add some sparkle to the gift sets. "Bling up your friends and family's bathrooms with our glitter-tastic gift sets". They most definitely are glittering and would stand out and make a statement in any bathroom. The phrases on them are cute, funny and flattering. The perfect Christmas treat!

Sarah helped us all pick out a gift set to take away with us, I chose you're a pretty big deal, as it contains the extra-body shampoo and rinse and the Extra-body daily boost. As one thing my fine hair definitely needs is some extra body! I was also given the Tea Tree Lavender Mint set, which I LOVE to take away which was beyond generous this contains a shampoo, conditioner and a Tea Tree body bar. Full reviews of these products will be up in the next few weeks.

Big thanks to Sarah and Paul Mitchell for having us I really enjoyed the event as it was a lot more intimate than other ones I have attended and it was great getting to learn so much about the brand. Also big thanks to all the lovely and exceptionally friendly bloggers I met, take a look at their blogs below!
