Barry M Smokin' Hot Palette

Remember when Barry M released some eye shadow palettes at the end of September, well I was lucky enough to recieve one by winning a twitter competition. I had already read so many good reviews from some of my favourite bloggers that I couldn't wait to get testing this little number out. The Smokin' Hot palette* is one of three palettes that Barry M have released. The packaging is a hard cardboard, kind of like the benefit blush packaging, with a big mirror on the inside that is ideal for touch ups. The Smokin' Hot palette contains all the colours you would need to create a daytime or night smokey eye with 6 colours and a blusher. It has 3 light colurs a nice metallic white perfect for highlighting the brow bone and inner corner, a pale pink and metallic grey silver which looks gorgeous. The other 3 are a lot darker with a shimmery navy and black and a matte black at the end, this one is the least pigmented and looks more grey than black. Despite that little hiccup I think the rest of the colours are really well pigmented and easy to blend to create your perfect smokey eye. The blusher is what I would consider the nicest and most wearable out of all the palette swatches I've seen. Its a lovely peach coral colour and suits pretty much every skin tone.
I think Barry M have done really well with the colour choices and palettes and I am even considering picking up the natural glow palette as the colours are much more me, I can never resist a good neutral palette! They are availible online at Barry M and from Superdrug for £6.49.

What do you think of Barry M's palettes and have you given any a go?
