Bourjois Color Edition 24H in Prune Nocturne

Bourjois as a brand have been really impressing me recently, I definitely think they are my favourite "drugstore" brand. Then again they are owned by Chanel my favourite high end brand so it would be pretty obvious I'd have fallen in love with them. so when I heard about the new color edition 24hour cream eyeshadows I decided I would dip my tow into the cream to powder eyeshadows. I actually don't own any other ones. A couple of the maybelline colour tattoos have nearly been purchased but I just never had the urge to buy them. Bourjois offerings just made me want to want to buy them! There are 6 shades to choose from, some much more subtle than others! I decided on prune nocturne, a perfect maroon shade which has been considered similiar to Mac's cranberry, just more subtle. The colour is gorgeous, honestly pictures do not do it justice, its the perfect mix of bronzey brown, purple and red with flecks of red purple glitter. The colour payoff was slightly disappointing at first as it looked more brown than I was expecting but it can be built up to give a much deeper colour. I don't know if Bourjois are saying the will last 24 hours with the name but I don't think any of us are going to actually test that theory out, I got a good 8-10 hours wear out of it (all day at my work). All in all just as with Bourjois other latest products this does not disappoint and honestly reminds me of the depth of colour you can get with some of the Chanel Illusion D'ombre's infact the 6 colours Bourjois have released are very similiar to Chanels first releases!

They cost £6.99 and are available from Boots and Superdrug (still doing a 3 for 2)!

What do you think of these and have you tried any cream to powder eyeshadows?
