Beauty | Winter Lip Edit

Like most people I like swapping my makeup about to make it more season appropriate and your lip colour is the easiest way to make your lips more season appropriate. During the summer months I like wearing bright colours and more glosses on my lips but over winter I like darker and nude colours. So I thought I'd share my edit of my most worn winter lip colours and the ones I will continue to wear throughout whats left of winter, in Scotland probably till June March.

Estee Lauder Mystic Mauve, this is a brown toned nude that looks nice and neutral on the lips and as it as a crystal shine has a little shimmer in it! I've written a full review here. Its just the colour I bring out right at the start of winter.
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in 80 Suspense, this is the newest addition to my Chanel lipsticks. It is a gorgeous light fuschia with red shimmer running through it.

L'oreal Rouge Caresse in Dating Coral, yes this is a coral which would seem odd for winter but on my lips it gives me a lovely nude. these are also super creamy! I have reviewed impulsive fuchsia here

L'oreal Glam Shine Stain in Milady, for those days when I feel like going a little darker I like wearing this! I love the glam shine stains in general as well as they are really well pigmented. Full review here.

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in 62 Monte Carlo, the only red that has made the edit which is strange for me but since reds are my most worn lip colours I have a seperate most coming soon on that! Monte Carlo was my first shine and since then I have been addicted. It gives a lovely subtle strawberry red colour to the lips! Full review here.
Rimmel Kate Moss 05, this was once my most worn colour ever and then my lipstick collection grew and grew and this was forgotten about. I rediscovered this little gem and I have been loving it its the perfect pink slightly red nude for me! Full review here.

Bourjois Shine Edition in Grenadine, Very similiar to the consistency and texture of Chanel Rouge Coco Shine, I have been loving this deep fuschia colour. It is just a sheer lipstick and doesn't contain any shimmer. This one has actually featured in a monthly favourites here but for some reason I've not done a review of this yet!

I hope you have enjoyed this post and let me know what your favourite lip colours for the winter months are!
