Beauty | Valentine's Hair and Makeup

For this Valentines look I started with the Revlon Photoready Primer, which is my favourite one it doesn't feel like silicone and keeps my makeup in place all day. Next up for my base was the Revlon ColourStay Foundation (shade 110 ivory) and my Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer as it covers my dark circles perfectly. All set with the Soap & Glory One Heck of A Blot powder. Next up the eyes, first primer, I used the MUA eye primer followed by a  matte white all over my eyes. I used the MUA Undressed palette (Full review) and using a fluffy brush put a wash of shade 3 all over my eye to just above my crease. I put shade 1 in my inner corner and shade 2 in the inner corner and 1/3 of the way onto my eye and on the browbone. I then did a subtle cut crease look using shade 5 using a flat brush (Sigma E55) Shade 5 goes just above the crease following the line of it to exaggerate it. I then blended this out with a fluffy brush (Sigma E35) and added a little of shade 3 just above it. I used the Maybelline gel liner and a little feline flick and the Collection Does It All Mascra (Full Review) on my eyelashes. For the rest of the face I contoured using my Lancome Mineral Mat Star Bronzer, this is the perfect contour shade for me  as its subtle but still adds a lot of warmth to my face, I definitely need this being as pale! I used a subtle blusher  my Chanel Reflex (Full Review) as its a soft bronzey coral with plenty of shimmer to highlight. I always apply blusher onto the cheekbones and up when I have contoured rather than applying it on the apples of the cheek, as this empahasizes the cheekbones a little more. I also used a small angled brush and put the bronzer down the sides of my nose and across the front of it and on the jawline and temples as well. Next up a little bit of highlighter my favourite one is the Elizabeth Arden Rose Illumination, as it is a gorgeous light rose gold colour, onto the cheekbones and front of the nose. Finally the lips I decided on red as it is my favourite and it is Valentine's day! I used Lancome's L'absolu Rouge in 132 Caprice  (also in my Red Edit) its such a vibrant red I just love it but it was in competition with my Chanel Coromandel, it won this time! to make it a little more subtle I applied Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector over it with a lip brush, I'm not a lip gloss type really  but this one has won me over and I didn't want to go for a red gloss. This just adds a little extra to your lips and isn't overly sticky, I'm actually fully considering a  full sized one of these!
Onto the hair, I used my Enrapture Totem Styler (Full Review) as a wand so the setting goes 3-2-1 as you use it kind of the opposite way round (upside down) as a wand. so 1 is actually the top and 3 the bottom. This adds so much volume to my hair and gives me the perfect curl. I brush it out using a tangle teezer and then use the Osis Session hairspray, BEST HAIRSPRAY EVER! All I'm going to say!

Let me know what you think and what your favourite products for valentines day are!
