Beauty | Le Blush Creme De Chanel 63 Revelation

Remember last year when Chanel announced they were FINALLY releasing a cream blusher, Le Blush Creme de Chanel in 6 colours as part of their A/W collection and everyone and their granny was going crazy in anticipation to see them, yeah I was one of those people. Then when they were finally released and everyone was rushing out to get their mitts on one as they were selling out faster that half price dairy milk, also me! My sister kindly treated me to this back in August? (what a cutie eh) on a Boots trip, I usually avoid the Chanel counter at this particular Boots like the plague as the sales assistants are the very cliche most try their hardest to avoid, you know stuck up, looking down their nose at you etc.. but this Girl was super friendly and helpful and despite my hours on the internet pouring over swatches I had no idea what one I wanted. I decided on the shade 63 Revelation.
The first thing I noticed was the packaging, its the usual gorgeous classic Chanel but the size is a lot smaller and slimmer than the Joues Contraste blushers, it doesnt have the brush nor the dome shape of them which would make sense for the packaging to be more slimline and handbag friendly!
The blush itself is so creamy and velvety feeling it glides on and blends out like a dream to leave a muted colour wash. The colour Revelation is a gorgeous warm toned pink, which matches my complexion perfectly and gives me a light natural flush to my cheeks it can be built up for a more intense colour  and you don't have to worry if you apply too much as you can easily blend it in, I use a stippling brush. The swatches are a heavy one to show the true colour and the other that shows the blusher blended out, I honestly love the colour.
My only gripe is the fact that Joues Contraste contains 4g whereas the Le Blush Creme contains 2.5g, thats 1.5g less and a £4 difference in price. So if you aren't that fussed on Cream blushers or just wanting to try a Chanel offering for the first time I'd go for the Joues Contraste as you get a bit more for your money. Other than that I love the Chanel cream blushes and the texture is the nicest I have tried!

  2. The colour is gorgeous but guaranteed it'll be far too much for my pale skin.
Chanel always get me with their packaging, there's just something about sleek black packaging that I love (maybe a little too much).
