April Favourites

It wouldn't by my Monthly Favourites, if I didn't post them late, regular readers will probably know this. I actually rarely post them at all as month to month I will just switch in a couple of new products. This month has been no different but I have had a few standout products that I though would be worth a mention.

First up the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Foaming Gel Cleanser*, just wow! I have never like foaming cleansers before but this one knocks everything else out the park for me. I use it after I have used one to remove all traces of makeup. I'm not an overly spotty person but wherever I get redness on my face, I get oily and this cleanser has been working overtime on keeping me oil free and it doesn't dry my skin out! (Review coming soon)

Combined with my Hero product Effaclar Duo [+]* my skin has been looking the best it ever has. I'm nearly out of this and have been trying to use it sparingly but this is one I will be stocking up on! You can read my Effaclar Duo [+] review here and on the La Roche-Posay Effaclar website along with some other amazing bloggers!

Onto face products and the foundation I have been loving is Revlon ColourStay. This is probably the highest coverage foundation I feel comfortable wearing. It's a medium high coverage and honestly so many people have thought it's a bobbi brown foundation I am wearing! I usually keep this for days when I don't have time for top ups and bad skin days!

Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder, welcome to my life! I love this, it's translucent and just the perfect setting powder I just tap it onto my skin and press it in with a big powder brush. I definitely notice a difference in the lasting power of my foundation on days when I haven't used this!

The Face sponges, these are similar to the beauty blender type sponges and my sister got me them for less than a fiver off ebay for a set of 4 and I honestly don't know why I hadn't tried them sooner they give me such a flawless base!

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine in Rouge in Danger, I actually won Kate's giveaway to win one of these lipsticks of my choice I already have a Rouge Volupte and was so excited to try the shine formula! As a red lipstick girl I had to get a red and this has been my go to recently!

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in Rose Shimmer, this is a little tester I got in a Christmas gift set and it's still not ran out but when it does I shall be purchasing the full size, I'm not a lover of lip glosses but I adore this!

Victoria's Secret Simply Breathless Body Spray, I spoke in my March Favourites about my love of VS sprays and my sister got me this for my birthday, it's moved straight to the top! It's a mix of mandarin and freesia and is very light and to me just smells like Spring/Summer in a bottle!

Pink Lucozade is my non beauty fave, I genuinely love this stuff and it appears to now be permanent rather than a limited edition. This makes me very happy indeed as it is the only lucozade I actually like!

I hope you've enjoyed my monthly faves and let me know any standout products you've tried this month!
