2014 Beauty Favourites - Part 2 Makeup

Part 2 of my 2014 beauty favourites is makeup if you missed Part 1 - Skincare pop over and have a gander at everything.
It's time to get onto part 2 and the makeup favourites! These are all the makeup products I have loved most this year.

I have 2 favourite primers and both work differently for my skin. First up is the bareMinerals Prime Time BB Primer in Light* this primer has become my holy grail I actually don't know what I done before this. I'm actually on to my second bottle of this now and it's definitely one I'll continue to repurchase I even featured it in my December favourites. Clarins Beauty Flash Balm  this is one that you can use as a primer and a nice face mask to give you a boost. I love using this as a primer when I want super glowy skin.

My ultimate favourite this year has to Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk, I got this back in October and I literally want to wear it everywhere. It's the perfect foundation, perfect coverage mixed with the perfect finish. Next up is the Makeup Forever HD Foundation. This foundation is apparently a favourite of Kim K and whilst many of us don't like here the Kardashians/Jenner makeup is something we all obsess over. This foundation is amazing and gives your skin a sort of airbrushed finish. Loreal True Match is my drugstore favourite and gives amazing coverage as well as a great finish. It is very impressive for a drugstore foundation.

My favourite still has to be the Collection Lasting Perfection in Fair. It's the perfect concealer for the under eye area as it is bright and highlighting and covers my dark circles. I can't really as for more!

My favourite highlighter is a drugstore one. This year the Seventeen Skin Wow 3 Way Liquid highlighter and Tan Liquid glow I know the other one is technically a bronzer but its like a bronze highlighter. These are amazing. Ultimate glowy dewy skin is yours with these little babies, I wore them a lot in the summer as a sort of stripped back contour and loved it!

I don't know what it is about blushers, but they are my weak point. In October I got the amazing Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushers Palette. I have literally used nothing else since I got this. That is how amazing it is and it's just so beautiful. Sleek Pomegranate is another favourite. I love Sleek as the have some really amazing makeup items. This blusher was a welcome introduction to my collection. Its a sort of dark fuschia colour and adds a lovely flush to your cheeks.

Estee Lauder Sumptious Infinite Mascara has been my absolute number 1 mascara this year. It is just perfect. It adds the perfect amount of volume and is so easy to use without looking clumpy, Another favourite is the Collection Does It All Mascara I actually featured this as a dupe for Benefit They're Real and it is still one of my favourites

Eye Liner
Collection has seriously impressed me this year and the Collection Extreme Felt Tip Liner has been the best liquid liner I have tried  this year. It hasn't dried up, it stays black and it doesn't smudge.

Eye Shadow
The Naked 2 Basics I'd never been that fussed for the original basics palette and when I heard this one was coming out I'll be honest I wasn't that bothered. I got it anyway and I love it. Its the perfect everyday palette. Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 palette, everyone has been raving about them this year and when I got this palette it was easy to see why. It has great pigmentation and I can't wait to try more from them.

Setting Products
The Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder I am on to my second one of these this year. It's a translucent powder that literally sticks my base in place. If I forget this step in the morning believe me I know all about it by 3 when my makeup has started  sliding. The next product I have been using a lot of is the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray this literally glues your makeup to your face do I really need to say more.

After blusher lip products are my most purchased makeup item. So there are 4 of them in my favourites. The YSL Rouge Volupte Shine lipsticks. I love these for when you want a little slick of colour. They don't last long but they also don't dry my lips out I've reviewed them here. Revlon Colourburst Moisture Stain to start with I really didn't like these as I found the consistency really strange but if you rub these into your lips instead of using the applicator the apply much better and the colours last for a really long time. Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector these are like a balm/lip gloss hybrid. They are super hydrating and just glossy enough to add a little something to your lips. These are definitely for  days when you don't want to wear a lipstick. Last but not least is Homeoplasmine I think this is like a multi purpose cream but it is amazing for my lips and I definitely won't be going without it.

Nailpolishes are something I haven't got many of this year but some have really impressed me. I love Essie as a brand and my favourites have been Style Hunter a nice bright fuschia and Bahama Mama A sort of purpley colour. OFAT (Only Fingers and Toes) are a brand I've tried recently. I won an Instagram competiton and I literally cannot get enough of them. Nitrogen the sort black green colour you can see is my favourite, It's actually a glitter colour that is really something else on the nails. Tuberose is a gorgeous pink with a sort of purple glow through it.

Thats it for my 2014 Beauty Favourites.
